Record Increase in the Number of Air Passengers in Turkey: 14.7 Million Passengers Received Service in January
Turkish airports experienced a significant increase in domestic and international passenger traffic in January. In total, 14.7 million passengers were served, according to the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure.
A total of 14 million 739 thousand 696 passengers were served at airports across Turkey in January, according to Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure. With the increase in domestic and international passenger traffic, significant mobility was observed on the airways. Similar increases were recorded at Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport. It was also stated that general aviation activities continued at Istanbul Atatürk Airport and cargo traffic at the airports was also at a remarkable level. These data reflect the dynamism and growth in Turkey's airways.
