Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Meriç Yazıcı Receives a New Patent: SENSOR-ASSISTED PORTABLE SMART DESK


Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Meriç Yazıcı, a faculty member in the Department of International Trade and Business, has achieved another significant success in the field of advanced technology by being granted a patent for her invention titled “SENSOR-ASSISTED PORTABLE SMART DESK.”


Our international patent application under the WIPO PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) for the invention titled “Sensor-Assisted Portable Smart Desk” has received a positive assessment in the Written Opinion issued by the International Searching Authority. The evaluation stated that Claims 1–3 of the invention meet the criteria of novelty, inventive step, and industrial applicability.

Bringing together ergonomics, personalized thermal comfort, and smart technologies, the “Sensor-Assisted Portable Smart Desk” has the potential to offer an innovative approach to modern working environments.
