Visit to the Istanbul Tulip Festival and Sakıp Sabancı Museum

Within the scope of the cultural excursion organized under the leadership of the Head of the Department of International Trade and Business, Assoc. Prof. Gülgün ÇİĞDEM, students visited the Istanbul Tulip Festival and the Sakıp Sabancı Museum on April 30, 2026. Along with Assoc. Prof. Gülgün ÇİĞDEM, Research Assistant Çağrı Selman İĞDE also participated in the trip.

Meeting Nature and Culture at the Tulip Festival

As part of the program, students first visited the Istanbul Tulip Festival. While exploring the tulip gardens at the festival area, which adds a unique color and vibrancy to the city during the spring season, students had the opportunity to closely observe Istanbul’s natural and cultural atmosphere.

Art and Cultural Experience at Sakıp Sabancı Museum

The second stop of the trip was the Sakıp Sabancı Museum, one of Türkiye’s leading cultural and art centers. Students examined the exhibited works and gained a rich experience in the fields of art and culture.

This cultural event, organized by Assoc. Prof. Gülgün ÇİĞDEM, aimed not only to enrich students’ academic knowledge but also to contribute to their personal development. Held in a pleasant and social atmosphere, the trip became another concrete reflection of the department’s student-oriented approach.
