The Department’s Micro-Credential Approach
Along with the program, the aim is to examine the policies pursued by states and international actors in the field of digitalization, to analyze the transformation society is undergoing while keeping in mind the fact that international relations cannot be considered independently of the digital world, and to make consistent predictions about the future world through digitalization
Proposed Micro-Credential Model for the Department Module / Modules:
Module 6 - Digitalization and Society
Along with the courses included in the “Digitalization and Society” module; cyber diplomacy and modern security risks will be analyzed from a strategic perspective; the transformative power of digitalization on society will be examined; and the impact of visual culture on social perceptions will be addressed. Students of the Department of Political Science and International Relations who benefit from this module will gain a broad perspective that enables them to use technology for social benefit.
