Dear Students,
As rest of the world, the aviation sector in our country is experiencing a significant transformation and change with the influence of globalization, fast developing technology and increasing communication channels. There is a noticeable increase in both air travel and civil air transport. With regard to today's developments, the arrangements made in this area, and the clues about how the future will shape, it is better understood how valuable Department of Aviation Management is.
While the market share is increasing with investments made in recent years, the share of civil air transportation in transportation sectors is increasing and people prefer to travel with airplane. Our country has taken important steps in airport and terminal operations in the same province. The Department of Aviation Management, which is one of the programs in the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, is established to provide adaptation to this rapid change and development experienced in the aviation sector, innovative, equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field, solution oriented and compatible with teamwork.
The Department of Aviation Management trains executives and specialists of public institutions and private organizations that can work in more areas such as airport management, ground handling, air transport, aviation safety and security, passenger services, cargo. The international education program, which is prepared together with professional academic staff in Development, which aims to provide sustainability in quality education, enables our students to receive training in both basic aviation topics and business administration. In these two important topics, our graduates who have started to work life with knowledge and skills have been interested in our graduates and also meet the needs of qualified personnel in the sector.
During the 4-year undergraduate program, our students who are trained with the internationalization strategy gain the ability to pursue professional knowledge, technological infrastructure, visionary perspective, global world, international developments in the sector, active role in important future aviation organizations with ethical rules for social benefit they are taking their professional lives as individuals who can be employed.
