Message from Head of Development

Dear Students;

With the acceleration of globalization in recent years, the increase in monetary transaction volume and the dynamism in this area have had a significant impact on the world economy and the economic value of countries and firms. The transaction volume in financial markets worldwide has now surpassed the economic size of goods and services markets. Looking at this situation observed in many countries around the world, including our own, the need for qualified individuals specializing in economics and finance is steadily increasing.

To meet this need arising from global developments, the Department of Economics and Finance, which has begun its educational life, aims to train qualified financiers who can accurately analyze changing financial markets worldwide and acquire the skills to use increasingly diverse financial instruments correctly and profitably.

Based on the fact that economics and finance cannot be considered separately, the Department of Economics and Finance aims to train innovative, competitive professionals who can accurately interpret economic developments, correctly analyze global economic, political, and social developments, and predict potential financial outcomes.

Through our internationally structured education program, we equip our students with the intellectual skills that will enable them to be successful individuals in their professional lives after graduation. We believe that a quality education is a primary right of the young generations who will be the owners of our future. With our professional academic staff, we offer the highest standards of education to the young people to whom we will entrust our country.

In line with our internationalization goal, we prioritize not only equipping our students with the intellectual skills to compete on international platforms, but also raising visionary generations who possess moral values that enable them to protect the interests of their country, who value society, who respect people, who are productive, innovative, confident enough to defend their decisions, who have the ability to express themselves effectively, and who can adapt to the business world and teamwork.
