Inflation Announced as 79.60%

The Consumer Price Index, published by TURKSTAT, was announced as 79.60% annually and 2.37% monthly in the July report.
 
According to the report, the index, which was 2.37% compared to the previous month and 45.72% compared to December of the previous year, was determined as 49.65% according to the twelve-month averages.
 
While the main group, which showed the least increase compared to the same month of the previous year, was communication with 25.79%; The main group with the highest increase was transportation with 119.11%.
 
TURKSTAT will publish its next report on August 5, 2022.
 
On the other hand, according to the index published by the Inflation Research Group (ENAG), the consumer price index increase in July was 5.03%; The 12-month increase rate was announced as 176.04%.
