The Erosion or Transformation of American Hegemony?

This event, organized by our department, will examine the operations conducted by the United States—particularly in the last few years—Donald Trump’s statements that have broken with diplomatic tradition, and, above all, the hegemonic power the U.S. has held since the Iran War. The panel will address the question of whether the policy the U.S. has pursued in this highly sensitive and tense international arena has eroded or transformed the hegemonic power it holds.

In the panel moderated by Dr. Ali Semin, an expert on the Middle East and founder of the “Center for Middle East, Eurasia, and Asia-Pacific Studies” (ODAP), retired Ambassador Uluç Özülker and 21st-term Independent Member of Parliament Ahmet Özal will discuss the topic as speakers.

At our event, participants will be presented with insights into the future of the highly complex international order. The aim is for this analysis of international relations, centered on U.S. hegemonic power, to provide valuable contributions to the participants.

All our stakeholders are invited to attend.
