Prospective Student
The Political Science and International Relations program, under the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Istanbul Gelişim University, aims to equip graduates with knowledge of international developments at local, national, and international levels, as well as concepts, phenomena, and theories in political science. It also aims to enable them to comprehensively analyze the political world, including behaviors, institutions, organizations, and philosophical foundations within political life; to possess the necessary skills to contribute to important research and theoretical discussions in the fields of Turkish politics, comparative politics, international relations, and political thought; to think creatively and critically on fundamental issues related to international developments; and to acquire the skills necessary to work in political science/international relations fields.
Students in our department can benefit from international programs such as Erasmus. Furthermore, our students have the opportunity to graduate with two degrees by pursuing a Double Major in other departments within our faculty.
