The Department of Political Science and Public Administration is a suitable choice for students who plan a career in different fields of the private sector as well as the public sector and want to receive education in this direction. Our department, which offers the opportunity to be appointed to civil servants in public services, also trains managers and leaders for the private sector, which is increasingly expanding today.
The courses in our department curriculum not only convey theoretical knowledge to our students, but also enable the construction of a critical and innovative perspective by conveying different understandings in the field of management in a comparative manner. By examining the nature of politics, its functioning and the relationship between society and politics, it is aimed for students to make sense of both the functioning of politics and the structure of society. In addition, the structure and functioning of public administrative units as well as national and international organizations are covered in depth.
The primary goal of our department is to provide society with human resources that think analytically, internalize human values and can respond to today's needs.
