Dear Students,

 

As of 2026, the Psychology Department of Istanbul Gelisim University represents a contemporary academic structure that aims to educate qualified professionals in the field of psychology through a scientific, ethical, and practice-oriented educational approach. Psychology is a fundamental discipline that examines the human mind and behavior, as well as their individual and social dimensions, from a multidisciplinary perspective.

 

Our department provides students with a strong theoretical foundation, research skills, and applied competencies through a curriculum updated in line with international standards. The academic program, offered in both Turkish and English, allows students to gain insight into various fields of specialization, including clinical psychology, developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology, industrial and organizational psychology, and neuropsychology.

 

The Psychology Department of Istanbul Gelisim University adopts as its core mission the education of psychologists who are capable of following scientific advancements, thinking critically, adhering to ethical principles, and demonstrating a high level of social responsibility. Our graduates are equipped with the qualifications necessary to successfully pursue academic and professional careers at both national and international levels.
