History of Psychology

The Psychology Department, located within the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Istanbul Gelisim University, boasts a rich and holistic curriculum that brings together diverse disciplines such as psychology, philosophy, and sociology. Its ECTS-compliant program aims to provide students with both theoretical and practical knowledge. Thanks to its interdisciplinary approach, students gain a broad perspective on the field of psychology, and graduates have the opportunity to pursue careers in various areas of psychology. The academic staff of the Psychology Department consists of 1 professor, 8 assistant professors, and 3 research assistants. The faculty members, specializing in different areas of psychology such as neuropsychology, clinical psychology, forensic psychology, and art psychology, offer students a multifaceted and up-to-date education.
