Dear Students,

Psychology is a multidisciplinary field that examines the human mind, behavior, and the individual and societal implications of these processes using scientific methods. It encompasses many specialized areas such as clinical psychology, developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology, industrial and organizational psychology, and neuropsychology.

 

The Psychology Department at Istanbul Gelişim University offers its students a strong foundation in psychology with a curriculum that is current and meets international standards. Throughout their four-year undergraduate education, students gain theoretical knowledge, research skills, and application-oriented competencies, enabling them to shape their academic and professional careers in areas of interest. With Turkish and English language options, our department aims to train psychologists who closely follow scientific developments in the field of psychology, can think critically, and adhere to ethical principles.

 

In today's world, where the need for individual and societal mental health is constantly increasing, the Psychology Department at Istanbul Gelişim University adopts the training of qualified, responsible psychologists who contribute to society as its fundamental mission.
