DEAR IGU PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT FAMILY,
We welcome another new academic term. The Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year is beginning at Istanbul Gelişim University, as it is at many universities. As the Turkish and English Psychology Departments, we are also very pleased to have filled our student quotas. As we welcome our new students who have joined us this semester, I wish all our students and esteemed faculty members a healthy, successful, and productive academic term.
Together with all my valued colleagues who are members of our department’s academic staff, I would like to emphasize that we will fulfill, to the highest standard, the responsibility entrusted to us by the confidence placed in our department. I extend my sincere regards and best wishes.
Dr. Mehmet Osman Kurtkan Kapıcıoğlu
Head of the Department of Psychology
