Research Assistant Zehra Nur Kurtoğlu Presented Her Research at the University of Bari Aldo Moro Within the Scope of Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Train

Research Assistant Zehra Nur Kurtoğlu from the Department of Psychology at Istanbul Gelisim University participated in the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training Programme at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy, upon the invitation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tiziana Lanciano.

During her mobility visit, Kurtoğlu delivered a research presentation titled “Applying Episodic Specificity Induction for Future Event Construction: A Career-Oriented Context”, focusing on her ongoing PhD research in cognitive psychology. The presentation addressed the role of Episodic Specificity Induction (ESI) in enhancing future event construction and explored how self-referential episodic simulations may contribute to richer future-oriented thinking within a career-related context.

The academic exchange provided an opportunity for discussions on future research directions, methodological approaches, and potential collaborations in the fields of autobiographical memory, episodic future thinking, and cognitive psychology. The visit also contributed to the development of new academic collaborations between Istanbul Gelisim University and University of Bari Aldo Moro.
