Publication Success of Our Research Assistant Zehra Nur Kurtoğlu in a Q1 Journal

Our Department’s Research Assistant Zehra Nur Kurtoğlu has achieved an important publication success with her research published in the internationally recognized academic journal Memory.

The study, co-authored by Zehra Nur Kurtoğlu, was published in Memory under the title “Emotional closure in involuntary autobiographical memories: Evidence from a laboratory paradigm.”

The study examines the relationship between involuntary autobiographical memories and the experience of emotional closure using an experimental laboratory paradigm. The research is particularly significant in that it focuses not only on the characteristics of involuntary memories of the past, but also on the emotional experiences and sense of closure these memories evoke in individuals.

The study, in which Kurtoğlu is a co-author, was published in the internationally recognized and peer-reviewed Q1 journal Memory. Focusing on research in the field of human memory, Memory is among the internationally recognized academic journals in psychology and cognitive science.

This publication represents an important contribution to Research Assistant Zehra Nur Kurtoğlu’s academic work on autobiographical memory and episodic future thinking, as well as her research conducted within the scope of international collaborations.
