The event, organized to alleviate the anxieties of students preparing to enter the workforce after graduation and to connect them with the dynamics of the sector, was held with the participation of our students. During the event, the guest speaker shared inspiring examples from their own career journey, while also providing critical information about recruitment processes, the new generation of qualities sought in candidates, and career development.
"Employee Experience Begins with the First Phone Call"
The guest speaker emphasized that Human Resources and Corporate Communication processes are now intertwined in today's business world, stating, "Employees are no longer just looking for a job, but for a vision that will add value to themselves," and noted that employer branding has become an indispensable necessity for companies, not a luxury.
Advice for Young Communicators: "Create Your Own Personal Brand"
Stating that communicators have a great responsibility in correctly explaining internal communication processes, the speaker gave our students invaluable advice to make a difference in the future business world. "As communicators, each of you is also a brand. To be permanent and positioned correctly in the business world, you must create your own personal brand."
The speaker emphasized the advantages that actively and professionally using LinkedIn, the central hub of today's business network, would provide students as they climb the career ladder.
The event concluded after students received answers to their questions and a group commemorative photograph was taken.
