Public Relations And Publicity

We Held Our "Meeting for Nature" Event

On May 12, 2026, a panel discussion titled “Digital Branding 1.0: Changing Trends and New Dynamics in Brand Building,” organized by the Public Relations and Publicity Department of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at our university, was held in the Tashkent Auditorium with the active participation of our students. Assistant Professor Merve Boyacı Yıldırım, moderated the event, while Mürsel Ferhat Sağlam, founder of Branding Türkiye, who conducts research in the fields of digital communication and brand management, participated as a speaker.

The Impact of Digitalization on Brand Communication

The event addressed the transformative effects of the digitalization process on brand communication, the integrated communication management approach, and the changing dynamics in current brand strategies. The discussion emphasized that digital branding is not merely about social media visibility; it is a holistic structure encompassing strategic communication, corporate identity, content management, and the development of sustainable relationships with the target audience.

The discussion also touched upon common communication mistakes brands make on digital platforms today, evaluating the impact of fast-consumption focused content production on brand trust. It was stated that building a sustainable brand in the digital environment is only possible with the right strategy, a consistent communication language, and an approach that closely follows current developments.

The discussion also addressed the impact of artificial intelligence technologies, algorithmic systems, and digital automation processes on brand management. While it was noted that AI-powered applications accelerate and facilitate processes such as data analysis, content production, and target audience management, it was emphasized that the human touch, creativity, and strategic perspective will always remain decisive factors in communication processes.

During the event, students were given insights into industry experiences and examples of branding processes, while also receiving important assessments on career planning and communication professionalism. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of students continuously following industry developments, developing their communication networks, and not hesitating to build professional relationships.

Sağlam, in his speech, stressed that "Everything begins with a hello," and stated that communicating and meeting new people can create unexpected opportunities in one's career journey. At the end of the program, students' questions were answered, and views were exchanged on the future of the digital communication ecosystem, personal development, and professional visibility.

The discussion, which gave students the opportunity to observe the industry-academia relationship more closely, concluded with the presentation of a plaque to Mürsel Ferhat Sağlam.
