During a visit by CIRIEC Türkiye to the Cihangir Women’s Counseling Center of Avcılar Municipality, potential collaboration opportunities between the university and local government were discussed. The meeting focused on educational activities and socially beneficial projects to which Istanbul Gelisim University’s (IGMU) Business Administration and Radio, Television and Cinema (RTC) departments could contribute.
As part of CIRIEC Türkiye’s visit to the Cihangir Women’s Counseling Center of Avcılar Municipality, potential collaboration opportunities aimed at integrating academic knowledge and expertise into local government services and social initiatives were explored. Participants exchanged ideas on how joint initiatives between the university and local government could benefit various segments of society.
During the meeting, potential academic, educational, and socially oriented initiatives involving the Business Administration and Radio, Television and Cinema (RTC) departments within the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences (FEASS) at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGMU) and Avcılar Municipality were discussed. Particular emphasis was placed on combining the academic expertise and practical resources of these departments with local government initiatives addressing community needs.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of bringing together the university’s academic expertise and practice-oriented educational resources with the local government's capacity to deliver services directly to the community. In this context, project proposals aimed at supporting the social, cultural, and personal development of individuals from different age groups were considered.
