Department of Tourist Guiding Participated in the Marine Tourism Working Group Meeting
Research Assistant A. Mecid Vergül from the Department of Tourist Guiding at Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, participated as an expert in the Marine Tourism Working Group Meeting held at the Divan Hall of the Şura-yı Devlet Building of the Governorship of Istanbul.
The Istanbul Promotion and Development Board, established within the scope of the Provincial Promotion and Development Program carried out by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), conducts activities aimed at enhancing Istanbul’s tourism potential and developing a sustainable cooperation model among public institutions and tourism sector stakeholders.
Research Assistant A. Mecid Vergül from our Department participated in the meeting, chaired by Istanbul Deputy Governor Avni Kula on September 9, 2026, and contributed to the discussions by sharing his evaluations and suggestions.
