Turkey ranks high among the holiday plans of German tourists.
At the end of the 2-year pandemic period, with the decrease in coronavirus measures, tourists are starting to make travel plans abroad again. In a new study by the European Tourism Council, it was stated that Europeans have a high tendency to travel.
In the research published in the past days, the countries that Germans are considering going for a holiday abroad were announced. In the survey conducted with 23,000 thousand people, Turkey ranks 4th among the popular holiday destinations preferred by German citizens. The North Sea and Baltic Sea Coasts were the most popular destinations, while Italy ranked second and Spain third. The most popular destination after Turkey was the Canary Islands.
