A total of 53 restaurants were included in the first selection of the Michelin Guide Istanbul 2023. 5 restaurants received stars, one being two and the others one star. Turk, opened by Fatih Tutak in 2019, was awarded 2 Michelin stars. Araka, Mikla, Neolokal and Nicole restaurants were also given one star. 39 restaurants entered the "Recommended" list, and 10 restaurants entered the "Bib Gourmand" list.

Istanbul has always been an important cultural and tourist destination; Today, with the Michelin Guide, we hope to show both local and international gourmets that this city is also an important gastronomic destination.”
