About 2022/2023 Academic Year Senate Decisions
Due to the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaraş on 06.02.2023 and caused destruction in the surrounding provinces, discussions were held on the measures that can be taken within the scope of the educational activities of our university for the 2022/2023 Academic Year Spring Semester.
The following senate decisions were adopted unanimously:

Postponing the starting date of classes to 17.02.2023,

Extension of course registrations until 28.02.2023,

Exemption of students who have an excuse due to the earthquake from the obligation to attend classes for the first two weeks,

Giving the right to take the exam at a later date for students who have an excuse due to the earthquake and cannot take the grade increase exam with a single course,
-
Providing all kinds of convenience to our students and staff as Istanbul Gelisim University.
