Demand For New Pilots Increases
It is predicted that by 2029, 260,000 new pilots will be needed.
According to the Flightglobal.com's report based on CAE (Canadian Aviation Electronics), the aviation industry will need more pilots in the next 10 years. Although both the number of flights and the number of active pilots decreased due to the Covid-19 pandemic during this period, It is expected that 260.000 new pilots will be needed globally by 2029. The biggest demand is expected to come from the Asia-Pacific region, with 91,000 new pilots needed. (Flightglobal.com, 2020)
