Due to the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that took place in Kahramanmaraş on 06.02.2023 and caused destruction in the surrounding provinces, discussions were held on the measures that can be taken within the scope of the education activities of our university in the 2022/2023 Academic Year Spring Semester.
In this context,
-Postponing the start of classes to 17.02.2023,
-Extension of course registrations until 28.02.2023,
-Students who have an excuse due to the earthquake are exempted from the compulsory attendance for the first two weeks,
-Students who have an excuse due to the earthquake and cannot take the grade increase exam with a single course will be given the right to take the exam at a later date,
-As Istanbul Gelişim University, it was unanimously decided to provide all kinds of convenience to our students and staff.
