Book Recommendation For November: Go-Giver

The book, which was published in the USA in 2007 as "Go-Giver" and translated into Turkish as "Yolveren", tells the story of a determined young man named Joe. Written by Bob Burg and John David Mann, this book inspires us readers to grow more profitably and sustainably at the personal and corporate levels in today's volatile market. Published by MediaCat, this book offers many examples from companies like Google, Red Bull, Diesel, P&G and more.

The story begins when a mysterious person comes to the aid of Joe, an entrepreneur who falls into despair at the end of a failed quarter. Pindar, the enigmatic person, is a legendary counselor called “president” by his fans. After this small meeting, Pindar and Joe go on a two-week trip. Pindar introduces Joe to his clients, whom he calls "Go-Giver". He first introduces him to a restaurant owner, then a CEO, then a financial advisor, real estate broker, and a “connector.” These "friends" of Pindar tell Joe the five rules of "Success Beyond the Clouds." In this way, Joe understands the importance of giving rather than receiving; he constantly learns that adding value to others comes back unexpectedly and unbelievably.

In short, “Yolveren”, with its original name “Go-Giver”, presents “giving” from a different perspective than we perceive in daily life, brings a new perspective to the word “give you get it” and presents us with “Five Principles of Success Beyond the Clouds”, heart warming and presented to a reader as an inspiring story.
