Our university continues to contribute to global academic research in the fields of sustainable development and green economy, further strengthening its presence in international scientific platforms. Faculty members from our university participated in the international conference themed “Green Economy and Circular Business Models for Sustainable Development” (MBE 2026) held in Bali, Indonesia, where they presented their latest scientific research. Prof. Kenan Aydın Shares Vision as Keynote Speaker At the conference, which brought together esteemed academics and researchers from across the globe, the Dean of our Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences, Prof. Kenan Aydın, represented our university as an invited Keynote Speaker. Prof. Aydın delivered a compelling presentation on Green Economy and Sustainable Business Models emphasizing the critical role of strategic transformation in addressing global crises. Through interactive sessions with participants, Prof. Aydın successfully showcased our university’s sustainability-oriented academic vision on an international stage. Academic Diversity and Paper Presentations in Scientific Sessions During the technical sessions of the conference, faculty members from various disciplines at our university presented original papers that contribute significantly to the literature. From our institution: Prof. Hakan Yıldırım, Prof. Anton Abdulbasah Kamil, Assoc. Prof. Onur Özdemir, Assoc. Prof. Emrah Doğan, Asst. Prof. Burçin Gündoğdu and Res. Asst. Zehra Makar Çelik shared current findings in their respective fields of expertise. Our faculty members drew significant interest with both their theoretical and practice-oriented approaches to multidimensional topics, including circular economy, environmental sustainability, the managerial impacts of digital transformation, and green marketing strategies. The sessions following the presentations laid the groundwork for new international academic collaborations. Research to be Featured in Global Publication Indices This participation, which is of great importance within our university’s strategies to encourage internationalization and scientific productivity, is also crowned with publication success. All papers presented during the conference will be published in Scopus-indexed publications, one of the most prestigious academic databases in the world. This ensures that the scientific knowledge produced by our faculty gains a permanent place in global literature, significantly boosting our university international scientific visibility.
