The Digital Art Created by Robot Sophia and Italian Artist Andrea Bonaceto Sold as NFT

Created jointly by Robot Sophia and Italian artist Andrea Bonaceto, "Sophia Instantiation" was sold in NFT format for about $ 700,000 at an auction in Hong Kong.
Sophia, the first robot produced by Hong Kong-based Hanson Robotics in 2016 and received citizenship, found buyers for $ 688,888 at the auction for her art work. Different digital art works were also offered for sale at the same auction. The digital artworks are protected by blockchain technology and linked to non-exchangeable NFT, a digital certificate of ownership.

The technology used since 2017 has come to the fore frequently with the rise of crypto currencies.
