Semester Opening Message

Dear Students and Dear Colleagues,

We’re starting spring semester of the academic year 2018-2019. I do wish cordially, first of all, that academic year 2018-2019 be a healthy, peaceful and successful semester for all our students, academic staff, partners and all Gelisim University family.

Each new semester, means a new excitement for us. Each new semester is also a new beginning. We welcome our new students and new colleagues who set foot to our department for the first time. We avail of this opportunity to greet our new students and new academic staff members who joined us for the academic year 2018-2019 and reminding that they must consider themselves lucky to be a member of Gelisim family, I wish endless success for their education life.

Although we’re a recently founded university, we had considerable developments with regard to quality and quantity. Our university, interiorizing and identifying with the “Gelişim” (Development) notion of its name, have a student profile that is developing itself continuously on each and every domain and is known internationally due to the national and international accreditations. Moreover, our students are equipped with knowledge that they can use both theoretically and practically in their domains, thanks to our academic staff who has sector experience.

I think that spring semester of the academic year 2018-2019 will be quite different for business administration department. As the department of business administration, we are planning to organize various activities and sector trips for our students during spring semester of the academic year 2018-2019. These activities and sector trips will enable our students to deepen in their domains and guide them in designing their career plans and what kind of work they can have and where they can work following their graduation.

As Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Faculty (IISBF) we had moved to our new campus as per fall semester of 2018-2019. We had positive feedbacks from most of our students regarding the quality and efficiency of the physical possibilities, classes and library of our new campus.  These physical facilities increase the motivation of our students as well as their success in classes. I wish that this success continues increasingly during the new semester preserving the same excitement and motivation.

Keeping these feelings and thoughts, I do congratulate once again our dear students who joined us recently and wish my academic and administrative staff a new academic semester full of success, convenience and well-being.
