RCEP (The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) was signed on Sunday after going through 31 rounds of negotiations over the past eight years
The agreement includes 15 countries with a combined population of 2.2 billion, or nearly 29.7% of the world’s population, and represents $26.2 trillion of global output. Some of these countries are China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
The agreement is expected to redefine the dynamics of world trade.
It is also expected to begin a new era in the trade wars between America and China.
