The Economics and Finance (English) Undergraduate Program, offered within the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Istanbul Gelisim University, has achieved an important institutional success by successfully completing its international accreditation process. Following the evaluation conducted by AQAS, the program’s accreditation has been renewed and will remain valid until 30 June 2031.
According to the AQAS certificate, the accreditation process of the Economics and Finance (English) Program was carried out in accordance with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). The certificate also states that the program complies with the AQAS criteria and the quality assurance requirements defined by the ESG. Thus, the program’s educational structure, academic qualifications, program outcomes, and quality assurance processes have once again been approved at the international level.
The renewal of the accreditation of the Economics and Finance (English) Program strengthens the program’s commitment to an educational approach aligned with global higher education standards. Delivered in English, the program aims to provide students with a strong academic foundation in international economics, financial markets, global economic developments, and comparative economic analysis.
The renewed AQAS accreditation has further reinforced the international recognition of the Economics and Finance (English) Program and its academic structure based on quality assurance. In the upcoming period, the program will continue to educate students as individuals who can compete globally, think analytically, and interpret current developments in the fields of economics and finance.
This achievement represents a significant contribution to Istanbul Gelisim University’s vision of internationalization, quality-oriented education policy, and sustainable academic development.
