Department of Economics and Finance (English)
 
The Department of Economics and Finance (English) that functions under the body of Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Economics Administrative and Social Sciences is one of the departments that draw considerable interest from higher education with its enhanced curriculum that involves theoretical and up-to-date information in fields like economy, finance, statistics and globalization. The Department of Economics and Finance (English), which raises qualified individuals who play active role in both development of the countries and in ensuring that the companies continue their growth, received its first students in 2017-2018 academic year.

The curriculum of the program has been designed in compliance with the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System), which grows interacademic cooperation and opens the door of international education and experience to students. The program consists of compulsory and optional courses from various departments with the objective to promote interdisciplinary studies.
