7th INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY AND FINANCE CONFERENCE
Istanbul Gelisim University 7th International Economics and Finance Conference, organized in cooperation with the University of the West of England Bristol and Azerbaijan State University of Economics, was held hybridly on 5-6 October 2023. The conference was attended by Istanbul Gelişim University Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin and İİSBF Dean Prof. Dr. Kenan Aydın and Conference Committee Chairman Prof. Dr. Blessing started with the opening speeches of Hülya Talu Tırmandıoğlu. The conference themed "Future Economic Order" was attended by Prof. Dr. Prof. Nimet Hülya Talu Tırmandıoğlu chaired the session with the topic "Inequality in the World Economy". Dr. Mehmet Şişman, with the subject title "Financial Sector, Its Role and Future in the Economy", Tuğbay KUMOĞLU, with the subject title "Economic Cooperation of Turkish States: New Realities, "Future Perspectives", Dr. Cebrayil VELIYEV made his speeches.
On the second day of the conference, Prof. Dr. Alp Erinç Yeldan, a doyen in his field, gave his speech with the title "Fighting Against the Climate Crisis in the Century of Inequalities" and Abdurrahman ÖZALP with the subject title "The Future of International Trade". The declarations made after the opening speeches contributed to various fields such as sustainability, climate change, green finance, unemployment, employment, health tourism, and digital money.
Istanbul Gelisim University International Economics and Finance Conference, which has been continuing every year since 2017 and has become a tradition, plans to continue its activities with the same enthusiasm and excitement next year, with intense interest and participation.
