The Economics and Finance Student Club actively participated in the Club Introduction Week events held on December 11-12, 2025, establishing strong interaction with students over two days. The club's booth remained constantly active with high student participation throughout the event, becoming one of the liveliest points of the introduction week.
Interactive activities such as chats, fun games, raffles, and face painting were organized at the club booth during the introduction week. Through these activities, direct communication was established with students, and comprehensive information was provided about the club's areas of activity, goals, and planned projects. Throughout the two-day event, club members were fully present, making a social and dynamic contribution to university life.
The event resulted in over 400 new memberships, concretely demonstrating the high level of appreciation and increasing visibility of the Economics and Finance Student Club among students.
The Club Introduction Week process was conducted in an environment where the club's activities were closely monitored and supported by the department's faculty members. This was particularly evident in the support given by the Head of the Economics and Finance (English & Turkish) Department, Asst. Prof. Mehmet Saya and Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Cem Ay, the advisor of the Economics and Finance Student Club, along with other faculty members, supported the club's activities throughout the event. Additionally, Ress. Asst. Eslem Büyükarslan, who is always in contact with the club's activities, also contributed to the process by guiding the students.
The Economics and Finance Student Club aims to increase interaction among students, strengthen departmental belonging, and sustainably encourage active student participation through such events strengthened by academic support. In the coming period, it aims to further strengthen collaborations between academia and industry; to offer concrete career opportunities to its students through trainings, seminars, workshops, and application-oriented activities; and to create a strong learning environment that combines theoretical knowledge with practice.
