Future Diplomats Convened at Istanbul Gelisim University
The second of the Istanbul Gelisim University Model United Nations Conference (IGUMUN 2026) was successfully held on May 2-3. Within the framework of the United Nations simulation, students gathered under four different committees to deliberate on global issues, showcasing their diplomatic and analytical skills.
Alongside our university students, young delegates from Gökkuşağı College and several prominent high schools—including Süleyman Nazif, Avcılar, Büyükçekmece, Beşiktaş, and Şehit Batuhan Ergin Anatolian High Schools—collaborated to seek solutions to pressing world problems.
The intensive two-day session marathon concluded with a closing ceremony where participants were presented with certificates of appreciation, followed by an enjoyable musical performance.
