In this context, a productive meeting was held with Ezgi Biçer, Founder and Manager of Akademina Training, Coaching and Consulting Company, together with Assoc. Prof. Gülgün Çiğdem, Head of the Department, and Asst. Prof. Derya Çelik, Vice Head of the Department and External Stakeholder Coordinator.
During the meeting, potential areas of cooperation between academia and industry were discussed in a comprehensive manner, with a particular focus on collaborative initiatives that will contribute to enhancing students’ practical knowledge and skills. With the inclusion of Ezgi Biçer as a new external stakeholder, it is aimed to further strengthen the interaction between academia and the business sector.
Additionally, project ideas that would support academia-industry collaboration were evaluated, and an exchange of ideas took place regarding potential joint activities to be implemented in the future. In this regard, significant steps have been taken toward planning training programs, seminars, and project-based activities that will contribute to students’ professional development.
As the Department of International Trade and Business, we continue to prepare our students as well-equipped, competent, and competitive individuals for the business world through strong and sustainable collaborations with our external stakeholders.
