An Important Patent Achievement by Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Meriç Yazıcı

Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Meriç Yazıcı has achieved another significant success through her work in the fields of science and technology. The invention titled “Micro Cooling System with Homogeneous Heat Distribution,” developed by Yazıcı—who is a faculty member in the Department of International Trade and Business at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences of Istanbul Gelişim University—has been officially granted a patent.

Evaluated under the Industrial Property Law No. 6769, the invention was registered on January 21, 2026, and is now protected for a period of 20 years. Developed under the leadership of Associate Professor Ayşe Meriç Yazıcı, this innovative system aims to ensure more balanced and efficient heat distribution in micro-scale technologies.

The system is expected to provide an important solution, particularly for high-performance electronic devices, by contributing to more stable operation and extending their lifespan. In this respect, the study stands out as noteworthy both academically and industrially.
