ISTANBUL, [01.08.2025] – Asst. Prof. Derya Çelik presented a significant paper titled "The Evolution of Scientific Publications in Artificial Intelligence and Entrepreneurship: A Bibliometric Analysis" at the 11th International EMI Entrepreneurship and Social Sciences Congress held at Istanbul Beykent University from July 31, 2025, to August 3, 2025, with the participation of over 500 academics from 28 countries.
This study, which analyzes scientific publications in the fields of artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship spanning the last 20 years using bibliometric methods, revealed the trends in academic production shaped by the intersection of these two disciplines. The findings indicate that artificial intelligence is increasingly attracting academic interest in the field of entrepreneurship and exhibiting a rising trend in the literature. The paper provides a comprehensive contribution to the literature by shedding light on topics such as the distribution of publications in this field by year, the most influential authors, collaboration networks, academic interaction across countries, prominent themes, and key concepts.
Our academic, who also had the opportunity to interact with numerous researchers from different countries during the congress, aims to deepen the analysis in this field through international collaborative research in the future stages of the study.

Artificial intelligence is increasingly attracting academic interest in the field of entrepreneurship and exhibiting a dramatically rising trend in the literature.

Studies addressing the concepts of artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship together were found to be clustered around eight different research clusters: management and decision-making systems, innovation and business model transformation, and education and entrepreneurial competencies.

The most frequently used keywords in the research were innovation, machine learning, big data, and management, along with artificial intelligence, AI, and entrepreneurship.
