Organized by the Zero Waste Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and UN-Habitat, the forum was held this year under the theme "People, Space, Transformation." The event brought together participants from 104 countries, 118 international partner organizations, mayors, ambassadors, and high-level representatives from organizations such as the UN, UNEP, UNDP, and UN-Habitat.
Assoc. Prof. Başak Özarslan Doğan will participate as an observer at the forum, leveraging the knowledge and experience gained on sustainable environmental policies, waste management, recycling practices, and green transformation to contribute to our university's environmentally friendly projects.
The International Zero Waste Forum, a key platform that aims to carry Türkiye's Zero Waste commitment to the world, contributes to the dissemination of environmentally friendly practices.
