A universe that can change everything: Metaverse

If we look at the word itself to understand the concept of metaverse, we see that while "meta" means "after, beyond" in Greek, the new concept is derived as a result of combining it with the word "universe". In the simplest terms, it can be said that the concept represents an all-encompassing digital world that exists in parallel with the real world. Metaverse is accepted as a collective virtual sharing space created by combining all existing digital worlds, but it can also be defined as a fictional universe in which all digital worlds exist. In addition, according to many, it will be possible to reach this Metaverse, which will be created in the future, through virtual reality or augmented reality. For this, many fields with these features need to be connected and in communication with each other. Metaverse will appear as virtual spaces where people who are not in the same physical environment can create and interact with each other. People will have the ability to beam up to the areas they want in this environment. However, there is a need for many hardware and software developments in order for this system to be fully formed and realized. In addition, many precautions need to be taken on privacy, data security, personal security, privacy and the emotional effects of this system on people. In fact, the "Metaverse", which should be accepted as a trend in marketing terms, has developed rapidly in a few years and has become a fashion, and its effects have begun to spread to the states by exceeding private companies. Many giant technology companies and even public institutions do not want to be left behind in case everything goes as expected and people start to spend their time in this "alternative universe" and make new investments in metaverse areas.
