Contributions of Artificial Intelligence to International Trade and Sustainability

The contributions of artificial intelligence to international trade and ecological sustainability are wide-ranging...

Although the contributions of artificial intelligence, which is now our assistant in every field from education to science, agriculture to industry and service sector, to international trade and sustainability are endless, we can summarize them under a few headings.

In every stage of international trade; supply chain management, customer relations, the process of realizing trade safely, data analysis, and even in the processes of ensuring energy efficiency, artificial intelligence is now being utilized. We can list the contributions of artificial intelligence with its processes as follows:

Supply chain management: AIs are having a significant impact on supply chains. Using data analysis and predictive analytics, they can forecast product demand and inventory levels. This helps businesses to stock their products effectively and provide the right amount of products at the right time to meet demand. This in turn helps businesses optimize their stock and reduce waste materials.

Automated customer service: AIs can also be used to provide automated customer service. Chatbots and virtual assistants can be used to answer customers' questions and provide solutions quickly. This increases customer satisfaction and frees up more time for human customer service staff. Amazon Alexa, of which there are many variants, is a virtual assistant artificial intelligence system designed for Amazon's smart speaker Echo. Alexa can perform many functions, including playing music, providing weather information, explaining dictionary meanings, creating shopping lists, and home automation.

Security: AIs can also be used in the security industry. In particular, for the security of high-volume products or trade goods, AIs can track products using high-resolution camera systems and automated threat detection software. ABB YuMi Robot is an artificial intelligence system designed for industrial robots. ABB YuMi can work in collaboration with humans and perform the same tasks as humans.

Data analysis: AIs are very useful in analyzing big data. They can collect and analyze data from businesses and help them make better decisions. For example, they can produce reports on the economic, social, and environmental performance of businesses. IBM Watson is an artificial intelligence platform used by businesses to analyze large data sets and solve various business challenges. IBM Watson features natural language processing, learning, emotional analysis, and data management.

Energy efficiency: AIs can also be used to improve energy efficiency. They can track the energy consumption of buildings and control building systems to save energy. For example, Nest Thermostat is a smart thermostat system used to control home temperature. Using artificial intelligence and learning algorithms, this system helps homeowners automatically adjust home temperatures and save energy.

When used in the right way, AI technology can make great contributions to humanity. These technologies can increase productivity in the business world and improve diagnosis and treatment processes in the healthcare sector. They can also be used in many other areas, such as increasing environmental sustainability and ensuring safety. The right use of AI technologies can help people live a better life. However, AI technologies also have potential risks, which need to be assessed and managed in advance.
