Airlines can cooperate with other airlines in various ways. The most common of these forms of collaboration are as follows:

Airlines are forming various alliances to realize these collaborations. These alliances, which are formed to come together to achieve common goals and provide better service to airline companies' customers, are called "Global Airline Alliances". There are currently three major global airline alliances. These alliances; It operates under the names Star Alliance, Skyteam and Oneworld.
1. Star Alliance: Founded in 1997, Star Alliance is one of the largest airline alliances in the world. Members of the alliance, which today includes more than 25 airlines, include United Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines and many other major airlines. Star Alliance operates flights to more than 1,300 airports and serves customers in more than 190 countries.
2. SkyTeam: SkyTeam is another important airline alliance founded in 2000. It includes airlines such as Delta Air Lines, Air France-KLM, Korean Air, China Eastern Airlines. This alliance, which has 19 members in total, operates flights to more than 1,150 airports and operates in more than 175 countries.
3. Oneworld: Another important airline alliance established in 1999 operates under the name Oneworld. The alliance, which includes major airline companies such as American Airlines, British Airways, Qantas and Cathay Pacific, has 14 members as of today. Oneworld serves more than 150 countries and organizes flights to more than 1,000 airports.
