İşkur Internship Portal serves as a platform where students can benefit from internship opportunities.
The Internship Portal was created by the Turkish Employment Agency as a platform to facilitate high school, university, master's and doctoral students to do internships in the private sector. Here, students will be able to follow the internship announcements made by companies, see what employers expect from internship candidates and apply for suitable announcements.
Students who want to do an internship through İŞKUR Internship Portal must register as a Job Seeker through İŞKUR. After creating their profile, students will be able to access and apply to the advertisements by following the instructions and instructions for use of the Internship Portal. Employers will invite the suitable candidates among the applicants for an interview. If an offer is received from the applied company, the student is not obliged to accept it. During the internship period, students' insurance is covered by the educational institution to which they are affiliated.
The internships of the students at IGU IISBF fall within the scope of ‘voluntary internship’ and their insurance is covered for 20 working days. For this reason, students who find an internship opportunity through the Internship Portal or another platform must fill out the Voluntary Internship Form at least 15 days before starting work and submit it to the Faculty Secretary by obtaining the necessary signatures. The internship can be done on days when there are no classes during the semester or in summer.
