It can be seen from the published reports that Turkey is also rapidly involved in this transformation. Turkey ranked 28th among 111 countries in the report published by the World Bank. Denmark took first place in the said report. Netherlands and Germany followed Denmark.
On the other hand, according to the "Regulatory Indicators for Sustainable Energy" report published by the World Bank for the first time in 2022, Turkey ranks 23rd among 111 countries in the world's "sustainable energy" ranking with its performance in energy access, energy efficiency and renewable energy last year. Sustainable energy ranking is determined according to the developments in renewable energy, access to energy, and energy efficiency of the countries. With the spread of policies in the field of sustainable energy, Turkey is expected to rise to higher ranks in the coming years.
