- You have managed many national and international companies. Could you share your knowledge about the real market with our students?
+ If we talk about audit companies, you can see these companies as schools where you will start learning the business from the lowest level. There is a hierarchical system in which you can rise within the organization as long as you succeed. It can be thought of as Junior, a pramit where you can reach the level of the company's profit partner by passing many steps from the beginner level. As a result of the experiences I have gained, I can say that diligence and communication come first in order to rise and be successful in any institution and in any position.
- How can our young people who do not have an international career experience or who cannot even go abroad with the opportunity to make themselves preferred by international companies?
+ Entering talent pools will benefit friends. There are many companies in coordination with abroad and these companies can contribute to the development of successful young people by sending them to their companies abroad. Naturally, not everyone can enter these talent pools or it is not easy to enter. As I said, diligence and communication stand out again here. In-house "networking" can be very important in this situation.
- What is the structure of the financial affairs department? Could you tell us about how the elements in the working profile should be? What kind of equipment should those who want to work in this department have?
+ It is a department that includes units such as budget manager, finance-operations manager, cost manager, sales finance manager, risk management. International Trade, Economy, Business etc. It is a department where graduates of departments can choose according to their abilities and the fields they want to specialize in.
- How has the pandemic affected companies?
+ The most important issue for companies has been "credit risk". It is necessary to manage the receivables correctly, that is, it is necessary to manage the collections and the receivable portfolio correctly.
- Which field companies were affected more negatively by the pandemic?
+ Macroeconomic assessments and predictions were made at the beginning of the pandemic. However, at the point we have reached, it is possible to speak on the basis of sector or even company. The tourism and entertainment sector was among the top losers. The aviation, automotive industry and construction industry were also affected. Prominent and rising sectors, namely the winning sectors, are medical equipment and service providers.
- So what precautions should companies take in the next period?
+ According to the methods produced in line with the researches and academic studies carried out in the relevant departments of the universities, companies should first be aware of the macroeconomic environment they are affiliated with (exchange rate, inflation, interest rate), and the level of development of the health and disaster system of your location. The second focus should be on the microeconomic environment, namely "What is the situation in the sector you are affiliated with?" And "How is it affected by a possible or realized crisis period". Action should be taken accordingly. These actions can be defensive, that is, stopping the operation or taking action. Companies should decide this by making their own self-assessment.
