Dear Students,
Istanbul Gelisim University offers students the opportunity to pursue a double major program free of charge. Students who have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.90 and rank within the top 20% of their class are eligible to apply for a second undergraduate program. Students whose CGPA is 2.90 or above but who do not rank within the top 20% of their class may still apply, provided that their university placement score is higher than the base score of the program they wish to pursue in that academic year.
In addition, students at Istanbul Gelisim University who have a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and no failed (backlogged) courses are eligible to apply for minor programs determined by the university senate, also free of charge. Applications for the minor program can be submitted as early as the beginning of the 3rd semester and no later than the start of the 6th semester. Students must have successfully completed all credit-bearing courses up to the time of application.
Students who wish to apply for double major or minor programs for the Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year must complete their applications between July 28 and August 3, 2025.
