A Basic Guide for Investors: Turkish Capital Markets Association (TCMA) E-Publications

The Turkish Capital Markets Association, which is a public institution and self-regulatory professional body, was established on February 11, 2001, with the Capital Markets Law and became operational in April 2001. All banks, brokerage houses, portfolio management companies, and investment trusts operating in the capital market are members of the TCMA.

TCMA, whose aims are to develop the capital market and intermediary activities in general, prevent unfair competition, and contribute to the professional development of its members, also provides market users with detailed and summary reports on capital markets and transactions. Especially with many publications such as monthly, and quarterly publications and guides, it protects users against information asymmetry and at the same time helps to reduce the mistakes and losses of investors. On the other hand, it can facilitate investors' access to information with summary and other data detailed according to their fields of activity.
