 An Essential Guide for Market Actors: Capital Markets Board of Turkey Weekly Bulletin


Bulletins of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey are among the current sources that should be followed for investors who evaluate or want to evaluate their savings in the capital markets.


The Capital Markets Board of Turkey works on the basis of trust, openness and determination in order to encourage savers to participate effectively in economic development by investing in securities, and was basically established to protect, regulate and supervise the rights and benefits of savers. Founded in 1981, Capital Markets Board of Turkey is a public legal entity with administrative and financial autonomy, and the Decision Making Body of the Board consists of a total of seven members, one of which is the chairman and the other is the vice chairman.

Considering the place of capital markets in national economies, the Capital Markets Board of Turkey assumes very important duties and responsibilities. One of the elements included in the definition of duty and responsibility of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey is the bulletins. In this respect, Capital Markets Board of Turkey Bulletins, which can be published weekly or in greater numbers when deemed necessary, are an important resource for both the capital markets subjectively and all actors of the economy in general.

Bulletins may contain a lot of information about the market, companies and individuals. In general, it covers a wide framework from companies that will be offered to the public, to individuals who are penalized, from companies' applications for paid or bonus capital increase, to prospectus and/or issuance document approvals.
