Economist Şevin Ekinci participated in the event as the speaker, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Gül Yılmaz, a faculty member of the Department of International Trade and Finance and Director of the Center for Economic Policy Applications and Research (IPUAM), served as the moderator.
The seminar, which drew significant participation, comprehensively addressed recent developments in global financial markets and Turkey’s role within this framework. Key topics included the impact of global economic fluctuations on financial institutions, central banks’ policy tools, international capital flows, and financial stability. In addition, Turkey’s banking sector, monetary policy practices, and its integration into the global financial system were also evaluated.
