 The 53rd World Economic Forum (WEF) started


The 53rd World Economic Forum, which started on January 16 and will last until January 20, calls for solutions to the current problems of the world with the theme of "Cooperation in a Fragmented World" this year.


The main goal of the World Economic Forum, which was held for the 53rd time this year after a two-year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, is shaped to find a coordinated solution to the crisis in the world. The summit, held in Davos, Switzerland, is attended by the leaders of many countries, the heads of international organizations and the leading names of the business world. At the summit where various sessions are held under the title of “Cooperation in a Fragmented World” leaders will be called to cooperate and put into effect a joint action plan on the economy, the Covid-19 pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine War, energy, food and climate crisis, migration, cost of living and international crises.

The main topics being evaluated at the summit are summarized as follows; -Addressing the current energy and food crises in the context of a new system for energy, climate and nature - Addressing the current high inflation, low growth, high debt economy in the context of a new system for ınvestment, trade and ınfrastructure -Addressing the current ındustry headwinds in the context of a new system for harnessing frontier technologies for private sector ınnovation and resilience (The fourth ındustrial revolution, climate change and geopolitical fragmentation and the need to reevaluate investment, production and innovation decisions) - Addressing the current social vulnerabilities in the context of a new system for work, skills and care -Addressing the current geopolitical risks in the context of a new system for dialogue and cooperation in a multipolar World.
